Apprenticeships at ELHA "BANG"

What is special about BANG?

  • BANG is short for "Professional Trade Area Apprenticeship Network".
  • A joint venture of 12 companies who train students in the industrial metal professions. They maintain an educational shop in which two supervisors and one teacher support the students.
  • In the beginning of the training the trade education is more intensive, this means that the students can be used quicker and more effectively in their own company.
  • The students are intensively prepared for the intermediate and final exam in order to successfully complete their education.

How does the training work?

  • The joint companies from Hövelhof manufacture very interesting products on a very high technical level.
  • The co-workers in the companies pass on their technical knowledge and experience to the students.
  • Two supervisors in the BANG-shop teach the students in the basic foundation of the metal education.
  • In the own company the company-specific education takes place. This approach leads to good results in the intermediate and final exam.
