A special painting is being created in H\u00f6velhof that will delight the children of Lippstadt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ELHA-MASCHINENBAU Liemke GmbH & Co. KG has been known for generations for its extraordinary machines. Now, a special idea has really \u201egone round\u201d in the truest sense of the word. A giant spin art painting (2.5\u00d72.5m) was created on a gigantic rotary table machine with a diameter of five metres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Normally, our customers use a special machine like this to manufacture large-diameter antifriction bearings for wind turbines, among other things,\" says Carina Becker. Mr Stakemeier from the company was all the more surprised. thyssenkrupp red earth<\/a>market leader in the manufacture of slewing bearings from Lippstadt, when he heard about this artistic endeavour, as he was also familiar with this type of art from his childhood, albeit on a much smaller scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

25 canvases were stretched on the round table in a holder specially made for this purpose and covered with acrylic paint. The round table then circulated, creating a unique flow. The special painting now has a place in the company's new building. thyssenkrupp red earth<\/a>not far from the rotary table machine from H\u00f6velhof used for production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The proceeds, worth \u20ac3,000, were presented on 15 December 2021 in H\u00f6velhof by Mr Stakemeier to Ms Jungeblodt and Mr Bohnhorst from the Association for our children e.V.<\/em> from Lippstadt. This will be used to finance new play equipment at Victoria Park in Lippstadt, as the local playground currently only offers very limited opportunities for the youngest children, according to parents. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sales Manager Meinolf Wolke had the idea for the painting when he and his son made a similar picture at home using acrylic paint, a small canvas and a conventional cordless screwdriver: \"Art comes from skill, and we could create a huge picture on a huge machine. This would create a connection between the hard, cold, mechanical engineering and cosy art.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n
