After the varied tour through our home town of H\u00f6velhof, the replica of the angular Hermann, which greets cyclists in the Senne municipality of H\u00f6velhof at the intersection of the Ems Cycle Route and the R 1 European Cycle Route, has been given a place alongside its great role model. In a joint project, ELHA and Siemens produced a 2.30 metre tall replica of the angular landmark. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"We are now even producing entire ship hulls in this way,\" says Hans-Georg Liemke, Managing Director of Elha-Maschinenbau Liemke KG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The impressive replica will soon be on display in the tourist information centre at the Hermann monument. But before that, it still has an exciting journey ahead of it, as it will not simply be transported to the Grotenburg in a van. The sculpture will be transported to Detmold in a completely climate-neutral way by cargo bike along the European Cycle Route, which has been the link between Detmold and H\u00f6velhof for years. The Senne municipality is particularly keen to work with the other North Rhine-Westphalian regions to promote this cycle path even further. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
