This machining centre was designed for the complete machining of flatbed laser components from TRUMPF. The machine assemblies are optimised for dynamic, high-precision and flexible machining of large components. The one-piece substructure and machine stand in composite material construction is inherently rigid, optimally vibration-damping and thermally stable.
The work unit with a newly developed fork milling head and powerful motor spindle is suitable for both aluminium and steel machining. The tool changing process is carried out by a robot (equipped with a double gripper). Up to 339 tool positions are available in the tool arena. The travelling CNC rotary table is equipped with zero-point clamping systems for holding clamping pallets. An automatic pallet changer is designed for unmanned production and can store up to 4(5) pallets with blanks in the system.
